Official Visa for a Pakistani National on an official Visit sponsored by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan

An official visa is given to a diplomatic / official passport holder duly recommended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan with a Note Verbale travelling to India for official purpose.

The following documents needs to be submitted along with the online visa application form:

1) Invitation letter from India.

2) Note Verbale from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad clearly indicating the dates of travel, dates of event , name of event etc.

3) Copy of NADRA Card along with its English translation and the translated copy should be notarized.

4) Copy of any utility bill, such as electricity bill/ gas bill/ landline telephone bill (any one as address proof) 

5) Valid Polio Vaccination Certificate

Official Visit of any Diplomat/ Staff posted at Diplomatic Mission/ UN or International organisation

An official visa is given to a diplomatic / official passport holder of the accredited mission in Pakistan to travel to India for official purpose.

The following documents needs to be submitted along with the online visa application form:

1) Invitation letter from India.

2) Note Verbale from the accredited mission clearly indicating the dates of travel, dates of event , name of event, purpose etc.

3) A Copy of Diplomatic/ Non-Diplomatic ID card issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and a copy of Valid Visa.

5) Valid Polio Vaccination Certificate

Kindly note that Passport has to be shown initially while submitting the application. Applicant will be asked to make passport available when the final Visa stamping will be done.

The process takes at least 7-9 working days. It is requested that visa is applied in advance.

For any local staff (holding Pakistani ordinary Passport), the clearance process is same as that of any Pakistani National. They are also required to deposit the requisite fee for the Visa application, even when the visa application is accompanies by a Note Verbale of the accredited mission.
