Submission of Visa applications along with Passport

Submission of Visa application along with Passports is to be done only through TCS Visatronics/ Gerry’s International designated drop boxes for submission of Visa applications. Indian High Commission does not entertain any Visa query/ request at the Consular Counter of the High Commission barring those visa applications submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and/ or accredited High Commissions/ Embassy and other Diplomatic organisations.

The timing of the Consular counter is from Monday to Friday (1000 hrs to1300 hrs) except designated Holidays.

Return of Passports (With/ Without Visas)

Once a visa is endorsed, your passport will be dispatched along with two immigration sheets through the same TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box , through which you had submitted your visa application.

The usual process time before a visa is issued varies from 45-90 days depending on the clearances received. You may enquire about the status of your visa from the TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box or directly from the High Commission.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I withdraw my passport but keep the visa applications pending?

In case you want to withdraw your passport for any reason, such as travel to another country, please send a written request through email to your courier company (TCS Visatronics/ Gerry’s who will approach Indian High Commission for return of passports.

No Passport return request will be entertained for cases where application has been submitted for 45 days or less. The passport will be returned through the TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box , through which you had submitted your visa application.

No personal visit to the Consular Counter of the High Commission entertained for withdrawal of Passport

Please note that your application will be kept pending for a period of 90 days since submission. Thereafter, if the passport is not submitted or clearances not received, your visa application will be summarily closed without prejudice to future visa requests.

Can I get my passport by courier, even if I directly submit the visa application at the High Commission?

There is no provision to submit visa application directly. It can only be submitted and retruned through the courier companies.
